beetle
When you doctors dissect bodies during your training... 1)Do people give the bodies stupid names and make fun of them....? 2)what happens to the body when you are done with it....? 3) if you dissect it into pieces...do the pieces finally end up as a body and disposed of respectfully? observer1
Re: Fao doc dhondy 2 and Dr.Observer1.......... Radhika: I am not a physician. And, good lord, how would I be Doc Dhondy's boss. I dont even know how to spell whatsit that he practices. Anyway, from my understanding, yes, they are given names - but, remember that most students joining medicine are barely 18. The bodies are ALWAYS treated with respect - it is ingrained into teaching from day1. They are in fact covered after dissection; and definitely 'disposed off' (sorry, cant think of a more respectable word) with due care.
