Zap_Brannigan Posted April 12, 2010 Share Posted April 12, 2010 So here we are...with just 1 more week to go for the league games and with just 1 team making it to the semifinals and with only 1 team with a very small chance of not making it. That leaves 6 teams fighting it for the 3 remaining spots. Funnily enough, all the previous IPL conventions have been chucked out the window. After the initial week with Gilly and mongose, it is Suman and Murali vijay, who was supposed to be a classical test player, that has emerged as the best batsmen of their side. Kallis, Sachin, Kumble,Ganguly all supposed to be on their comfy couch watching this "Young mans" games have led their teams from the front. Bond,Lee,Tait, the super fast bowlers has given way to Bhajji,Y Pathan,Ashwin as opening bowlers. 7 days and 11 games will decide who stays and who is forgotten.
