vvvslaxman Posted April 22, 2010 Author Posted April 22, 2010 not relevant. Played in Greneda. But WI plays home tests there right?
Serani Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 Yeh but its not a venue for the 2020 WC which you seem to be pointing towards, otherwise this thread is useless. Also Holder, Pascal and Gabriel all took wickets and they are not spinners, Shillingford has been taking wickets for fun against Zim in the A game.
vvvslaxman Posted April 22, 2010 Author Posted April 22, 2010 Yeh but its not a venue for the 2020 WC which you seem to be pointing towards' date=' otherwise this thread is useless.[/quote'] You will be proved wrong once the T20 starts and spinners start dominating.
Serani Posted April 22, 2010 Posted April 22, 2010 http://www.cricinfo.com/ci/engine/current/match/452649.html It was probably played on the same pitch as this match [not dominated by spinners] hence the low scores and apparent domination of spin. then again only speculation.
Sir john Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 zimbabwe spinners bowl very well.specially lamb, give 12 in spell only.
Ranjha Posted April 23, 2010 Posted April 23, 2010 You need phasssssssssssssssssssssssst bowlers to win t20.
hari504504 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Looks like we missed the trick in not picking Ojha..
UmarAkmal Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 :cantstop: at Aussies. They are going with a battery of fast bowlers for WC.
hari504504 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 :cantstop: at Aussies. They are going with a battery of fast bowlers for WC. They don't have any choice otherwise... who'll be their spinner unless Warne comes out of retirement for this T20...
UmarAkmal Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 They don't have any choice otherwise... who'll be their spinner unless Warne comes out of retirement for this T20... Spanking from Gayle in last 2009 WC still haunts them. :haha: http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/sport/cricket/aussies-still-fear-a-full-force-gayle/story-e6frey50-1225857807733
hari504504 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Hauritz is not at all bad you know...is that smith chap in their squad? Clarke and White can do a better job as well as being more than handy batsmen... Good that you brought up Steven Smith..seems like a decent prospect....lets see what he does...
UmarAkmal Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 is he in the squad:? http://www.cricinfo.com/wt202010/content/squad/454007.html
HowardRoark Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 so did i but if the pitches are anything like what I have seen from scorecards from the Windies then Hauritz will have to play' date=' smith in with a shout, and i reckon Clarke and [b']white might have to do some bowling as well. Padosis will be very happy :desiwoman:
hari504504 Posted April 24, 2010 Posted April 24, 2010 Padosis will be very happy :desiwoman: Forget white.. Clarke is a left arm spinner..is like Krptonite for them..
