Jersey #10 Posted May 4, 2010 Author Posted May 4, 2010 BUMP I think the whole tournament will be washed out. D/L are going to be cursed millions of times in next few weeks.
Show_stopper Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 I hope we don't have a tontee-tontee WC till 2013 after this
Jadoo Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 BUMP I think the whole tournament will be washed out. D/L are going to be cursed millions of times in next few weeks. Definately, England got pwned by D/L against WI after scoring 190 odd, which would have been difficult to chase down.
Mamu Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Its actually the IPl fault because the ICC probably wanted to organise this earlier in the dryer season [not that I know anything about weather seasons in the WI] however the IPL was in the way. Lets all blame IPL. World Cricket bodies should heave a huge sigh of relief. Had India not made it to the 2nd round and if at least 3 of its players came in injured to WT20. BCCI would have passed a decree -- "No more important tournaments -- for 2 months right after IPL" -- "We need time for our players to recover"
Sid Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 world events should never be held in wi,first of all trhere is no crowd which creates dull atmosphere and secondaly most of games are bound to be rained off due to weather there and if not rained off we see those rediculous 5-6 over matches.
gaurav92 Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 Eng/Ire game will be washed off too with the rains around
Jersey #10 Posted May 4, 2010 Author Posted May 4, 2010 Eng vs Ire Washed out Fourth game washed out in a row! Is this what cricket is all about?
asterix Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 If Modi would've been in the helm, he would've cancelled remaining matches in the Caribbean and moved them to Florida. Only problem would've been the immigration issues of Pak team to USA keeping in mind the current developements..

Serani Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 It seems the ICC are strategically using RAIN to ensure no minnow makes the super 8's.
Mr. Wicket Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 The weather gods have gotten sick of tonty tonty as well.
The Outsider Posted May 4, 2010 Posted May 4, 2010 The weather gods have gotten sick of tonty tonty as well. Naah....He was too busy setting up His twitter account today.
Jersey #10 Posted May 5, 2010 Author Posted May 5, 2010 Name calling to international players offends some of the members but then some also think "tonty tonty, Tontee-tontee" is a cool name. When will you guys learn to accept and respect new forms of the game? Ridicules me If you don't care about the "tonty tonty" then why even waste time commenting on it? seriously! Wait for your tests matches and then come out of your holes
Ranjha Posted May 5, 2010 Posted May 5, 2010 This T20 wc is a joke really - RAIN Every game is a rainfest and its raining just after couple of overs in the second innings consistently....wtf is this cr!p.......If super 8's, semis or finals are decided like this. I will be bloody pissed even if India benefits from it.
Jersey #10 Posted May 5, 2010 Author Posted May 5, 2010 Odds of you getting a ban: 1-2 :giggle: That won't stop me from breathing...:hatsoff: Slapping me with a ban will only mean that the intended audience of that particular post of mine are just pure WEAK at facing the truth.
