Mandrake Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Excellent movie backed by powerful performances.....I think this is the best hindi movie I have seen this year by far....
Ram Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Very refreshing movie, a welcome break from the usual love tales - action flicks. Aamir started out wanting to make a good film, and ended up making a good film.
PaiN_KiLLeR Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Excellent movie backed by powerful performances.....I think this is the best hindi movie I have seen this year by far.... I would still put Black Friday (based on 1993 bomb blasts) ahead of TZP...
Desi Cartman Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Today went to watch welcome and it was CRAP. Cant wait to watch TZP.
kabira Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Welcome is laughthon...you don't carry your brains and just enjoy the movie.
Guest Hiten. Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 I would still put Black Friday (based on 1993 bomb blasts) ahead of TZP... How can you compare a film which is based on real life story (Black Friday) with a story which is well-thought for goodwill of both parents & their children + it was backed by powerful performances by everyone who acted in the film (TZP) For me Black Friday was more like a documentary than a film. But KK menon was good in black friday.
PaiN_KiLLeR Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Mandrake was talking about the best movie of the year, and if i had to pick one it would be Black Friday.
Mandrake Posted December 29, 2007 Posted December 29, 2007 Mandrake was talking about the best movie of the year' date=' and if i had to pick one it would be Black Friday.[/quote'] I said this is the best movie I have seen this year:D...havent seen Black Friday yet
Rajiv Posted December 31, 2007 Author Posted December 31, 2007 Watched Strangers - KK Menon and Jimmy Shergill - started of well but before I knew it the movie was over - BS Welcome - Crap, not sure where it was heading The Invasion - Dull and 80s like Lions for Lambs = A 3rd Class GI Joe style docu I am Legend = 50/50 , nothing special
Rebb Posted January 4, 2008 Posted January 4, 2008 Watched I am Legend = 50/50 , nothing special Thanks for the heads up as this looked okay in the previews. Might just wait for it to come out on DVD.
Dirty_South Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Watched Gone Baby Gone & Eastern Promises -> Recommended.
maggot_brain Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Thanks for the heads up as this looked okay in the previews. Might just wait for it to come out on DVD. Don't even bother it's crap. Anyway you can probably get it via other means if you know what I mean.
apocalypse Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 Charlie Wilson' War is good for those who like Politics. Not a family movie though because of some scenes
maggot_brain Posted January 5, 2008 Posted January 5, 2008 there is nothing remotely shocking about those two movies . best stylishly made cult movies- definitely yes. shocking movies - hell no Guy Ritchie is a numpty. If you want to watch good British Directors' works then watch stuff by Ken Loach or Mike Leigh. They've got a leftist slant, granted but they have a pervailing sense of realism and honesty about them.
Rebb Posted January 6, 2008 Posted January 6, 2008 Don't even bother it's crap. Anyway you can probably get it via other means if you know what I mean. Ouch. Must be a real stinker. Will prolly take your advice when I run out of decent things to acquire.
