What does the Modi ( IPL) expose tell us about the morals of Gavaskar and Shastri ?

As members of the Governing Council, they have needless to say the least been privy to all the murky happenings inside. Gavaskar has always been known to be a self serving hypocrite of the highest order, who never misses an opportunity to play to the gallery his patriotism. He rightfully was scathing of Bhookhanaan last time around...but his mouth seems to have been firmly shut by Modi's $$$. Got his mediocre crappy son a IPL contract too. Shastri, I thought still had alot of morality about him. Paisa bahut kuch bolta hai.

I guess you must be pretty high on morals to judge others. If I recall correctly, you are associated with the media If that's the case what are you doing to improve its standards?

'We cricketers trusted IPL financial experts': Sunil Gavaskar Mumbai, May 2 (ANI): Breaking his silence on the controversy surrounding the Indian Premier League (IPL), former cricketer Sunil Gavaskar has said he and his other fellow cricketers had complete faith in financial experts in the committee. In an article appearing in the 'Times of India', Gavaskar expressed regret over the fact that he did not have much knowledge of financial and legal issues, so was unable to understand what was discussed in IPL meeting. "Pity, we cricketers don't have so much knowledge, for then we would have been able to understand a lot of the financial and legal issues that came up in council meetings. We cricketers looked at all the others who were knowledgeable about finance and trusted their expertise," Gavaskar writes. "When it came to cricketing matters, they looked at us and when we talked cricket they nodded their heads too," he adds. The third edition of the cash-rich Indian Premier League (IPL) tournament was embroiled in controversies, including allegations that former Minister of State for External Affairs Shashi Tharoor was trying to influence franchisees. http://news.oneindia.in/2010/05/02/wecricketers-trusted-ipl-financial-experts-sunilgavaska.html

Gavaskar literally stripping bare with irritating OTT commentary to sell IPL, not mentioning a single word against how key Indian players, even seniors who are being forced to play almost all matches in IPL at the risk of injuring themselves and missing India games. The crass IPL party culture and brash bullying tactics of foreign players. For someone who is known to be scathing and vituperous on serious matters, he has suprisingly kept his mouth shut and not spoken a word against IPL. Says a lot.

See if they stop seniors from playing cos of injury then u will say its cos of their jealousy .. So more than them its u who need to grow up .. Modi ran IPL like a one man company .. These guys were there just to make the numbers and ofcourse if they get paid so y complain .. Don't blame them for anyone else **** .. Crass parties??? so y u wanna see them? skip those .. Bullying tactics?? If a player don't wanna come than they just simply should say no .. Like clarke, broad etc .. Is it a rocket science? See players need money and IPL provides them .. And if tht's too much for u to understand than there's no point discussion this with u ..
