He was getting the ball to reverse into the right handers. Not too shabby, I would say. In comparison, Prosper Utseya, the off spinner Gavaskar so highly rated in his column was really pedestrian. In fact I think his action has major kinks but I guess ICC have long stopped worrying about legal actions considering that even Kieron Pollard chucks his slower off cutters. Not to mention Harbhajan's doosras and faster deliveries.
