Indias "dominance" of cricket seems to be coming to a bitter end. Why would you sack Kirsten? Its laughable.

So indian players are not fit? Whats new? Ganguly for example has always been horribly un fit and I have seen bid cruise ships been able to turn faster. I mean stories of gangulys great work ethic in this thread simply make me laugh! Sehwag has always been a fat git, his weight has gone up and down like a yoyo but has not stopped him piling on the runs. I am not saying its bad that they are not fit. But its not exactly something new to india. Our team has alweays been unfit since they started playing cricket in comparison to saffies and aussies. We just don't have the general fitness culture in India which is reflected in our cricket team. Probably one of main reasons we don't get fast bowlers. So Kirsten telling us team is unfit is like telling us the earth is round!

Chill! Its all 'reliable sources' that have been telling us stuff until now. In other words its probably attention seeking lowlifes in the media making up stuff. Most of it seems to come TOI or times now as well.

'Team India not involved in any brawl'

Rubbishing reports of some Indian players having been involved in a pub brawl after their loss to Sri Lanka in the T20 World Cup, Tequila Joe's owner tells TIMES NOW that no member of the Indian cricket team was involved in any sort of a brawl. Some false reports in the media had earlier claimed that 6 Indian players were involved in a brawl with fans in a pub at St Lucia. According to false media reports six Indian players went to a local pub, Tequila Joe's, on Wednesday night where fans started taunting and abusing them which resulted in a confrontation after the team's failure to reach the semifinal of the Twenty20 World Cup. TIMES NOW was the only channel which did not resort to any false reporting on the story yesterday and speaking exclusively to TIMES NOW owner of the pub too has dismissed the reports. Ulrich Augustine said, "No Indian player was involved in any sort of a brawl. On the contrary, they were all having a good time and enjoying the food. I was there all night and there was no fight what so ever. Nothing transpired that night and infact we had all the teams come to our bar. The atmosphere has been full of fun and the players are having a good time here." Meanwhile, eyewitness at the bar also denied reports of a brawl adding that instead the team players were very friendly and apologetic for their dismal performance in the T20 World Cup.

No sir, nothing permanent will happen. If you look up the news items after the 2007 WC, you'll find the same sort of things that you are seeing now, incl the partying part. At the time, BCCI came up with a long list of commandments for the players. Can't remember the details now but pretty much nothing was followed.

Before every tour, all the contracted players have to undergo a fitness test and only those who fulfill the benchmarks will be considered for selection.
