All this is part of Gary, Paddy and Eric (the coaching staff's) report about the tour. It also talks of 8 players in the WT20 squad being overweight and unfit, off which 3 are unfit for any kind of International sport. Worse, they refuse to be binded down and take corrective measures. They are asking for "freedom" and even ready to pay fines if they breach discipline and party. Wow. What a wonderful set of players we have. Given that Gary seems set to open his mouth, much like Greg Chappell, I think the end must be near, given BCCI's "strict discipline policy for coaches". To add to this, Gary and Co are miffed with Kris Srikkanth for completely disregarding their request to send Ishu to Zimbabwe. Hope Kris Srikkanth is sacked. Strange are the ways of Indian cricket. Edit- Just saw on CNN-IBN. 6 Indian players were allegedly involved in a brawl at Tequila Joe's. On expected lines, Yuvi says it was just an argument. Update- BCCI issues press release, says "no Indian player has received any showcause notice". This was circulated by Prof. Ratnakar Shetty. Strange, coz Live India seems to be pwning BCCI to epic proportions, talking to people who were present during the tamasha and the stuff they are saying quite shocking.

Notices were served to Yuvraj Singh, Ashish Nehra, Zaheer Khan, Ravindra Jadeja, Piyush Chawla and Rohit Sharma. The BCCI has sought to find out from the players if the brawl did happen and who was to blame. The team's manager has also been spoken to. The brawl erupted at a pub called Tequila Joe's on Tuesday night after the Indian team's loss to Sri Lanka in the T20 World Cup. Nehra and others were having a drink at the pub while Yuvraj was trying to get them onto the dance floor. Some Indian fans got agitated on seeing the cricketers enjoy themselves and reportedly abused them. The fans told the players it was disappointing to see them drink and enjoying themselves after the defeat on the field. Their comments instigated Nehra and led to a tussle. Yuvraj tried to calm things down but eventually, the pub's bouncers had to intervene. Nobody suffered injuries. The pub's manager confirmed the incident, but Yuvraj denied there had been any brawl. If the noobs had put as much effort into ther battig and bowling as they do in drinking and dancing they might have made it passed the group stages. Lucky it was only a row, I am sure the are quite a few people who would be willing to deck the idiots in the face!!!
