hari504504 Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 :omg::omg::omg::omg::protest: Does anyone stand a chance against them in this WC..England might as well board the plane home right away to avoid the formality of playing after handing the cup to Clarke
yoda Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Love their attitude. Go for the kill instead of dilly dallying. Saffies and to some extent even us can learn a thing or two from this specific game on how to chase even when wickets are falling.
DomainK Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 They are the best team and England will have to play extraordinarily well to win.
Dinx - the Jinx Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Spot on OP - lets hand over the cup to the Aussies. there isnt a need to play the finals and humiliate the English
Guest Hiten. Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Fitting finale to this world t20. Two unbeaten teams in this competition will go head to head and deservingly so.

yoda Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 to 'some' extent ?? :cantstop: how about "to a great extent" :hysterical:
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 :hatsoff: to Australia. What a superbly brillantly awesome fightback :hatsoff: to Pakistan as well. They went down fighting and as long as they lose like that, I have no complains from them
Kriterion Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 :hatsoff: to Australia. What a superbly brillantly awesome fightback :hatsoff: to Pakistan as well. They went down fighting and as long as they lose like that, I have no complains from them at this point its not even about inherent skills or ability - though i suppose the aussies trump everyone in that category as well. its about WILL. its something very few sportsman have had. a determination to come back from nothingness...18 needed of the last over, with a spinner cutting pace off the ball is no joke. and to do it with 7 down, and a ball to spare? unbelievable. the aussies are indeed from another planet.

I second that. They give those out of the world performances :o Completely out of the blue
coffee_rules Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Fitting finale to this world t20. Two unbeaten teams in this competition will go head to head and deservingly so. Eng lost to WI and barely won against Ireland. They won all S8 matches.
hari504504 Posted May 14, 2010 Author Posted May 14, 2010 Mike Hussey: He hit a six when he had 2 balls remaining to score the winning run..with the tailender/s at the other end...I mean ..what kindof super-cooled fluid runs through his veins??!!..certainly isn't blood
Guest Hiten. Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 Eng lost to WI and barely won against Ireland. They won all S8 matches. Whoops. Windies win was a fluke and I am sure England would have pulled that off had there been no rain. And it doesn't matter if they 'barely' won or convincingly. They have looked good in this tournament and are deservedly in the finals.
hari504504 Posted May 14, 2010 Author Posted May 14, 2010 Eng lost to WI and barely won against Ireland. They won all S8 matches. England have looked unbeatable off late..peaking at the right time. But have they peaked enough to overshadow Australia ?!.. In my opinion, This was potentially the most evenly matched T20 final since the Inaugural Ind-Pak final ....But Today's game simply tilts the scales decisively ..towards...
Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 M. Hussey is something really special. He`s a player i really really respect. Can`t say the same for any other player though. I`d say he`s the only man on Earth who could`ve played an innings like that. At the end, i was literally gasping for breath . A marvel and a true legend of this beautiful game we call Cricket:hatsoff:
Sid Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 cant believe clarke is leading such a class t20 outfit,he is their only weakness
Karan114 Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 These guys' will to win is just amazing. Cricketing skills, top levels of fitness are all there, but that determination and belief is well, beyond belief!
