don_corleone840
who cares? are you serious? we had an effin parade in mumbai attended by politicians when we won in 07. every loss hurts. thats why its called a loss. if no one cares there won't be a loser. t20 is just a fun.their is no historic importance.infact indians have played more ipl matches that international t20.u need to understand that ipl has diluted t20 world cup.i was more bothered about pakistan victories than india loses.now pakistan is out, i have no complaint what so ever.it is just a hit and miss cricket and anybody can loose in bad day.(aus knocked out in first round last year.)i have no complaint for team india as they are doing well in real formats of cricket. diegovegaz
both teams play good cricket bowl in good areas, even in twenty20 batsmen don't play as cheeky shots as dilshan or any other feilding has always been high quality Link to comment
maheshw
I think we need to move towards having specialized teams for each format. This will allow more cricket to be played, as well as giving more youngsters a chance to dip their feet into international cricket. Link to comment

As usual you manage to spectaculary miss the point. I would suggest some comprehension lessons.'We'(India) have always taken 20/20 serioulsy. We never made any false pretense about it. But the topic is the behaviour of people from england, etc who, were conviniently calling it hit and giggle when their team sucked at it but now suddenly have become devoted to the format. Yes, every loss hurts but its right to label one a hypocrite if they pretend it doesnt hurt because the format is silly but then enjoy when they win Link to comment
maggot_brain
If T20 becomes the dominant form of Cricket then I am no longer going to maintain any interest in it. I despise T20, it's symptomatic of modern attention spans and the crass commercialism of the world's greatest game. I tried watching the IPL this year as it was on free-to-air Telly here in the UK. I just couldn't stomach it. I barely watched this ICC T20 either. Link to comment

Filmi music with meaningless song and dance is the most popular form of music, but that does not prevent you appreciating Karnatic and Hindustani Music. Link to comment

asterix
That's a given. Here any discussion related to T20 turns in to IPL lambasting :( The funny thing is that most of these 'pure cricket' lovers have followed and enjoyed T20 and IPL secretly. But to scratch each others back, show off intelligence and be part of the bandwagon, they spew venom against T20 & IPL. It would be interesting to see what they had posted when India won the T20 WC and during the 1st two IPL tournaments.. This trend has increased now that India is in the top ranking of Test cricket...For years these 'pure' cricket lovers had wished the team win any sorts of events or get better ranking... I did follow T20 initially but I soon got sick of it. It's like going to a restaurant, ordering a three course meal and then being given a bowl of soup with some stale bread and nothing else. Obviously I'll still be happy if India wins a T20 but I won't be upset over it if they don't. Link to comment
