nballa Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 Shoaib Akhtar for displaying more loyalty, emotion and athleticism while representing KKR than Pakistan. Shah Rukh Khan hugging him after the KKR victory was the best moment in the history of cricket for me.

Bublu Bhuyan Posted May 22, 2010 Posted May 22, 2010 I am a huge fan of White lightning too... in terms of aggression too..he was genuine! Flintoff I admire more because he can swing the match with both bat and ball..plus his sledging - "Mind the Windows Tino.."..:two_thumbs_up: He has the best bowling figures among all his contemporaries in Test cricket, provided you consider both bowling average as well as strike rate. An average of 22.25 and a strike rate of 47 with the ball, that would be equivalent to a batsman averaging 55 at a strike rate of 65 odd. Dream figures, really. But that ain't surprising considering the ruthless and devastating machine he was.
Dinx - the Jinx Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 how come no one got curtly ambrose? he was the most fearsome bowler i have seen in test cricket.. then i liked lance klusener, KP, murali, gayle, lara, flintoff, andy flower,
Mamu Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 how come no one got curtly ambrose? he was the most fearsome bowler i have seen in test cricket.. then i liked lance klusener, KP, murali, gayle, lara, flintoff, andy flower, Lets analyze the bowlers I selected Is Ambrose better than Marshall -- Hell No. There never was, never is and never will be any bowler better than Marshall. Is he better than Hadlee and McGrath -- NO Is he better than Akram -- debatable and the answer might be yes. Is he better than Donald -- possibly -- but I am biased towards Donald Is he better than Holding -- very much possible. One reason I do not have Ambrose (and the same reason applies to Lillee) -- I never followed them as much as I should have. Klusener -- will never get into my all time favorites. You can question Freddie -- but I am biased towards Freddie. Murali and Akhtar -- will never get into my list -- Because they got a significant amount of their wickets by NOT BOWLING.
SSJ4Kakashi Posted May 23, 2010 Posted May 23, 2010 Among the current ones: Chris Gayle Shane Watson Ponting Graeme Smith Kevin Pieterson Baz Vettori Shakib Murali
