asterix Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 You were maybe sleeping when Umar Akmal made a test hundred against Shane Bond? S. Bond..You should be ashamed of yourself..Chullu bhar paani mein ja ke..
S.Bond Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Happy Trolling. lol. How can you bring someone with and average of 35, average of 9 in 8 test innings vs Australia into this comparaison? To add , 3 centuries in 50 innings , all agaisnt the same opposition,Pakistan onthe sub continent. Don't bring him in any comparaison.
S.Bond Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 S. Bond..You should be ashamed of yourself..Chullu bhar paani mein ja ke.. I was still the Man of the match of this particular match, the kid just batted wonderfoully!:--D
Andy Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 lol. How can you bring someone with and average of 35' date= average of 9 in 8 test innings vs Australia into this comparaison? To add , 3 centuries in 50 innings , all agaisnt the same opposition,Pakistan onthe sub continent. Don't bring him in any comparaison. What has Akmal done against Aussies? and what has he done througout his test career? Apart from a ton against a single Man NZ bowling attack? How many tons has he scored against aussies?
Gunner_Mania Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 I will not even enter in this comparaison' date=' yuvraj vs Umar Akmal, that is an insult to Akmal![/quote'] Pakistan batting is an insult to batting. End of discussion.
Andy Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Pakistan batting is an insult to batting. End of discussion. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

How many tons has he scored against aussies? He does not average 9 agaisnt them. Maybe you should sit, think about the number 9. hmmm Makes me think about Ronaldo! How great Yuvi!
S.Bond Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 Pakistan batting is an insult to batting. End of discussion. That is not true at all. It's notbecause our batting is bad, that UmarAkmal can't be good. If Brian Lara can be the greatest, why Umar Akmal can't even be good. This is early days for him, sofar he has played well in all formats of the game. Good luck to him, What is really ridiculous about this thread, why not add some youg indian players? and talk about them...

Andy Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 He does not average 9 agaisnt them. Maybe you should sit, think about the number 9. hmmm Makes me think about Ronaldo! How great Yuvi! Yuvraj is a very Ordinary Test player. But Akmal beter than him is too early to say. Yuvraj avgs 9 because he faced Warne, Mcgrath,Gilllespie, Lee. Your Akmal hasnt even faced them. Let him face stein his AVG wont even be beter than 9 against Saffers. Now you think what you are talking about. Pakistan attack on a semi green Pitch comprising of Actor and Asif is anyday beter than facing N Zattack in flat pitches in NZ. Before calling Akmal beter than Yuvi let him play some tests first.

Just dig out the test stats of your batsmen and you will realize that they look like tail enders. Most of them dont even deserve to be anywhere near a decent international team.
S.Bond Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 because this thread was started by a Bangladesh cricket fan to compare his super star versus one of your superstars. After all e are on an Indian forum. Umar Akmal has just played 6 tests. Tamim has played 18. Difficult to compare. Actually Umar Akmal istoo youngto be compared to anyone, only 6 matches you can't judge a player.

I don't think the pitch was semi-green at that time, otherwise i don't see Pakistani Batsmen scoring SO many runs, and beating batting records. Even Faisal iqbal scored a hundred i think. Our top 8 al scored more than 50. But yes it was a good innings.
S.Bond Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 eh :hmmmm2: what logic is that? That was to say it's not because Pakistan batting is ridiculous that Umar Akmal can't be a good batsman.
f2000560 Posted June 1, 2010 Posted June 1, 2010 from what i have seen umar akmal but then yeah too early to tell and tamim is not bad either but atleast tamim will enjoy an unhindered stay in the team with akmal being in pakistan team anything can happen.

Didnt you see the lateral movement of the surface? Thats not possible on a flat track.
