Its so nice to see how proffesional English Selectors and Board ,They focus on each players weakness and if they spot a talemnt they back it,What if Munaf Patel,Ishant Sharma ,Irfan Were Managed so well.they needed it when they came but were grinded to dust

Simple sports science, strength training > hypertrophy of muscles needed for bowling > stronger contractions > able to maintain pace or even bowl faster. In fact we saw this with Stuart Broad who put on a few MPH in the space of a months training. Then we get Indian pacers who spend their time doing TV adverts, promoting stuff and their strength diminishes and they bowl slower!

For young bowlers you have done well in first few series in india ,there are not same care taken.they are made to be superstars and played in every match

None of the INdian fast bowlers look in top shape. Zaheer who used to be having fitness issues, is ironically our fittest fast bowler. He bowled 11 consecutive overs in the last Test against New zealand without dropping his pace. Rest of them lack stamina and strength to sustain their potency if at all they have.

^ He did so coz maybe he learnt how to use his body smartly and conserve his body during the County matches. He almost played every IPL game as well, which is just 4 overs but quite demanding. I think every bowler can learn a thing or two from him. And the comeback king - Sourav Ganguly. The lesson for fast bowlers by quoting Dada's eg? "Never give up".
