I know he got a 100 but surely malinga should have got man of the match. He did the damage early on that set it up and then finished it off at the end. I think alot of people undervalue the 5 wicket haul in one dayers. More people score centuries in ODI's than there are 5 wicket hauls.

Absolutely agree with you. But it was a quite brutal innings on a pitch where most struggled But in a LOI where everything is in favour of the batsmen, 5 wickets and the turn around of the game at the event deserves the award

It was really a great news listening to Afridi’s praise on different cricket news channels and a lot of other sources including a sport center. Although' date= its been a long time to see Afridi’s brilliant hundred and his sensible batting yet its good enough for Pakistan because they usually rely upon Afridi’s sixes and bi scores at less balls.
