I was talking about you not mentioning pitch when they dont get wickets. But as soon as they do its cos of pitch and any decent spinner would have done the same according to you. On that basis might as well dissmiss most of Kumbles wickets in 90s cos its all about pitch apparently and other spinner would have done the same according to you.

well I didnt mention the pitch alone.why r u ignore 1st innings lead.if u have a pitch with a turn n bounce n 373 runs to play with obviously u expect ur spinners to do well.that they did.but it wasnt a 'great' performance as u r trying to portray as they were under no pressure

about the pitches,yes Ahmedabad was a patta,Hyderabad wasnt,there was enough bounce n occasional turn to force a win after 115 run lead

All spinners need runs on board to deliver(unless murali or warne but even they need some), vey important aspect. Thats part of the reason why kumble was so much more effective overseas post 2000, as the our batting line up started piling up scores overseas as well, as before that he had no runs to play with.

Todays perfomance by spinners was not decent , I would say it was superb. Ran through them like knife through butter. Raped them today. Great work by bowling unit today!
