aseemraina Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 So,,happy..man... Congrats INDIA..I am so excited... As somebody rightly said..Beat the Pakis too.. That will shut them up..
Ram Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Q: Why are Pakistanis the most environment friendly people in the world? A: Because they’re always ‘green’ with envy. Forget tournament wins, when was the last time Pakistan won a meaningful cricket match? Probably before partition, when they were part of India.. :giggle:
Sachin200* Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Brilliant India are the asia champions we played like champions r u watching Pakistan we sent u out we won without Sehwag Yuvraj Sachin . We aint no rock stars we r cricketers.

Pak_Fan_4_Eva Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Forget tournament wins, when was the last time Pakistan won a meaningful cricket match? Probably before partition, when they were part of India.. Do you want me to give examples?:cantstop::hysterical: Congrats Indian Rockstars for winning the Asia Cup:two_thumbs_up:. Let`s hope you translate this form in ICC tournaments as well
kabira Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Great. We won two games chasing under lights and chased highest totla under lights in Dambulla. Now we need Sachin, Sehwag and Yuvi back in full fitness and we are dangerous. I am stil worried about number 7 spot though.
Ram Posted June 24, 2010 Author Posted June 24, 2010 Although its hard to say definitely if this means we have a distinct advantage over other teams based on just a couple of wins, what is heart-warming is that we were able to get the better of Asian teams in Asian conditions, knowing that traditionally, outside teams have always struggled to play a winning brand of ODI cricket in the subcontinent mainly because their pace attack, which is generally among their biggest strengths, turns into one of their biggest liabilities in the unforgiving, barren conditions thar we have to offer. India’s top-order batting and spin bowling will always pose a formidable threat to opposing teams in our conditions, but the challenge is to see if we can fix our fielding, lower-order batting and the initial seam bowling in the first 10 overs. If we manage to address these issues even marginally, we will be a tough opponent to beat in the WC.
EnterTheVoid Posted June 24, 2010 Posted June 24, 2010 Yesssssssssssssss. Can't believe we won !! :thrasher:

mastana Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 How many points do we have now? Aussies have lost two matches. I think we have a chance of becoming number one in ODI's again?

I think we have a chance of becoming number one in ODI's again? http://www.cricinfo.com/rankings/content/current/page/211271.html We are third, tied with SA, at 119 points. Australia are miles ahead with 131 points.
Karan114 Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 Even if Australia lose the remaining three games, they will still be on 127 points.
ludhianvi Posted June 25, 2010 Posted June 25, 2010 How many points do we have now? Aussies have lost two matches. I think we have a chance of becoming number one in ODI's again? Dont forget that India lost 2 matches against a very lowly ranked Zimbabwe and then lost 2 against SL (one in triseries and one in the group stage of the Asia cup). Dont think the rankings take into consideration whether a country sent their B team or not
