I mean seriously, you are working somewhere, and one fine day, they tell you to **** off..and you say "tough ****". and just walk away...:giggle::giggle:

I made it very clear, I was not in favour of the changes, I didnt understand what the rationale behind India's opposition was. Clarke and Morris provided the explanation that I was looking for.

Get a feeling most developed countries will adopt such stringent immigration policies considering weak global economy. Tough luck guys, hang in there. On the other hand its pathetic to see Indian govt protesting! I know its wishful thinking, but ideally the govt should welcome expats back and create opportunities in India itself to put their intelligence and expertise to use. Maybe even offer tax benefits to make their transition back smoother. The Indian economy could definitely use their skills and knowledge, not to mention the personal wealth that they bring back.

till 10-20 yrs ago either brilliant students or people from rich families migrated overseas but this has changed in the last few years especially since land prices have sored in India and the younger generation is more aware of what is available outside India and they know legal ways to move. Govts of Aus , UK etc need to take steps as its changing demographics and its scaring people who are already fearful of India's growth in other sectors .. for example call centre, It , Accounting ( BOH bank jobs ) etc

Ghar aa jaa pardesi tera desh bulaye re!:icflove: Or at least keep sending in the remittances :winky: UK is bound to get tough on immigration, its a tiny island. The Euro **** is sinking them and they need to do something about it. Unfortunately non euro economic migrants will be the first hit. Tough luck. Try the Scandinevian countries, heard the scenary is awesome.
