Bedi at it again

Bedi has earned the right to speak his mind. I would rather have someone like Bedi who speaks openly about what he believes rather than cricketers making bland, generic responses.

Never thought I would type this but I totally agree with Fontaine!:cantstop:

Hearing Bishen Bedi speak is like watching the real-life version of King Tendulkar in action. The only difference is, while KT's blind rants against Nehra are at best laughable and an irritant, Bedi's outburst against Bhajji are shocking and effin annoying. I mean, here's a guy who regards arguably one of the top 2-3 bowlers of all time in the entire history of cricket, Murali, as an out and out chucker. And he spares no punches when it comes to Bhajjji as well. Now, Bhajji's record in test match cricket in the last 2-3 years can at best be labeled patchy and questionable, but to call him pathetic names like Bedi does is totally out of the line. As much as Bhajji's test match record is not as good as it could have been, he has been our emotional leader on the field, not only inspiring the team to some crucial wins with his own bowling, but also helping the other players express themselves. Old man Bedi has clearly lost it. Rather than hand him a mike, they should give him the address to the nearest mental asylum.
Agree. And we are blessed to have emotional leaders like Harbhajan, Yuvraj and Sreesanth.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with what Bedi says. Sehwag is our best off spinner. Lets leave alone considerations of whether Harbhajan's action is genuine. Even if it is, Sehwag is a better off spinner. Only Graeme Swann of the current crop of off spinners gets more drift consistently. And the requisite break off the pitch. Yes it reflects poorly on our spin talent. We ought to be afraid of the lack of depth.
