Kumble retired at 38+...why expect bhajji to retire at 35? Plus bhajji is fitter than kumble was . Now do the match average.
Possibly..but still if he plays 8 more years and at 8 tests a year thats 64 tests and his current avg of 4.5 wkts per test he will still fall short of Kumble. I just dont believe its a given that he will end up as India's highest wicket taker, he may do it, but its not a certainty.

yeah, right :P The Sardar has 355 wkts from 83 tests, which is 4.3 wkts/test Murali has 792 from 132 tests, which is 6 wkts per test For Sardar to touch 800 wkts, he would need 445 more wkts. At his current wkts/test he would need more than 100 tests to get to that. And if Bhajji plays 100 more tests, then I don't know what to say about the Indian spin attack .... On the other hand, if he does that in next 50 tests then that would be something

I expect Bhajji to get it.
