Shahid Afridi : What is ur opinion about his captaincy?

Shahid Afridi : What is ur opinion about his captaincy?

  1. 1.

    • You are impressed with his captaincy. He should continue being the captain
    • You are not impressed. Another captain needs to be found ASAP
    • You need to see him for more matches to confirm your opinion.

My respect for Afridi has grown ten fold after reading this. It`s the exact definition of a true Muslim leader:two_thumbs_up:
Batted like a selfish coward. Refused to adjust his game for test cricket. Thus its seesm your defintion of a true muslim leader is someone with no brain!

What an awful knock by Afridi. If you captain behaves like a retard and bats that way, than what else can you expect from the rest.

I am disappointed :headshake: should have stayed put at the crease as long as possible,,,, with bad light stopping play all the time, atleast he cud have hoped for a draw... 2 mistakes already :headshake: the other one being...persisting with Asif last night....

LOL. Afridi is a retard Imagine being salman buttcrack, well settled, playing well, in comes afridi to join you. Afridi treats like you are not a well setlled batsman who he needs to support but as a tailender. Afridi starts wild slogs . What a Retard

Absolutely... he must have seen some super hero movie just before the game... he should have stayed put at the crease...lent support to BUtt and hit out only if Butt lost his wicket... but i guess ....Afridi fans will excuse him saying ... "he is like that only"

No different from past Afridi knocks in tests; brainless, gutless with no inclination shown to fight it out in harder conditions and nothing near what the team needed from him. Except that now he's the captain, so his idiot followers have a few other excuses they can trot out about the additional pressure on the poor beast of burden.

Lulz, the guy distrusts his technique and defence SOOOO much, he has decided that the only way to survive in the crease is if he goes on a wild rampage. That kind of attitude may probably work at the club cricket level, but this is Goddammn Test cricket. Its for the big boys, boys who can fight their limitations and rise beyond their insecurities. Afridi trying to succeed in test cricket is a bit like an Atheist running for President in the United States. Both are never gonna happen.

Rameez's always talking about Afridi helping his bowlers out and inspiring them. Why can't he mention the mentoring he can do for his batsmen? Bottom line, he will be laughed at if he tries to teach his wards how to bat. Like Afridi has claimed, Pakistan had no choice hence he is the captain. I still reckon they are silly to keep on recycling the Farhats and Yaseer Hammeds... they have been tried and binned many a times. On top of it they have two young inexperienced cricketers at no.3 and no.4 Akmal brothers are all right but they are going to be hot and cold given the high risk game they employ in test cricket. They certainly needed one of Younis or Yousuf if not both. Unfortunately both have had long breaks and even if they are brought in now they can't expect miracles from them. Test cricket for Pakistan is going to be fairly hard for about a year's time till they have a settled batting line up.

Total fail on several counts. a few obvious ones are: 1. Why insist on a fast bowler when the lights are obviously down and when he needed to squeeze in as many overs as he could? 2. What exactly is the wisdom in sending a debutant at no3? Whats the 'no3 scare' in the pak camp? What not Kamran Akmal? Why do the Pakistani seniors wet their pants when it comes to no3? Thats a key position and needs someone with skills and experience. And when the no3 got out cheaply and the team needed some serious stabilization, what did he do? He pushed another debutant in there. 3. When was the last time you saw a captain not give a damn about the team and it's interests? Hitting sixes was always his priority and it still is. There was a set batsman that needed some support and his team desperately needed someone to play out some overs, see the day and protect the tail. But who cares? Not the captain at least. The other batsmen also failed, but they tried at least. Even Danish Kaneria did a better job than Afridi himself. Retard? Yes.

Afridi needs to sit down in a corner in his room and think hard about what he is going to do to save this game... can he go for a win by getting the aussies all out and going after the target, or does he let aussies bat max time possible and as slow as possible to waste time in the test match and somehow hope the rain Gods or Bad Light Gods save him... both look unlikely...but an effort has to be made

I would love to hear Rameez talk about Afridi now... man Rameez credits Afridi even if the Pakistani players tie their laces. I'm glad I don't have to hear to that bull any more.

aggressive in all aspects. I don't think he will succeed in tests though. You need brains to get through 5 days while you don't need a brain to get through 20 overs.
I knew it
