Sid Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 I am the biggest fan of dhoni but this is seriously stupidity on the part of the author, there will always be one god of cricket,a 200 crore deal doesnt mean he is the god of cricket and when it comes to money tendulkar signed a 100 crore deal in 1995 and 100 crore at the time means 500 crore today
Ram Posted July 14, 2010 Posted July 14, 2010 "I bear witness that there is no God but Tendulkar, and I bear witness that Marirs is Tendulkar's servant and His Messenger and I bear witness that Sachinism is Tendulkar's 'Wali','representative' ." The last phrase is optional to some dhoni-ists. They feel that Sachinism's 'Valayat' is self-evident and need not be declared. However, the greatness of Tendulkar is also taken to be self-evident, but Sachinists still declare ':hail: Tendulkar' to publicize and confirm/boost their faith. This is the reason EMC gives for recitation of the phrase regarding Sachin. Lol, I bet that’s exactly how the the dude who wrote the Q’uran came up with the original phrase – Just plain bored on a cold Wednesday afternoon. :giggle:
