..Sure he has been bowling like crap lately but does anyone believe that Sachin, Laxman, Sehwag, and Jaffer can score more then him? Play Pathan as sixth specialist batsman!

Re: This Pathan character Absolutely.A real fighter as far as batting is concerned. We need type of guys who are mentally strong and believe in themselves.If you compare recent (from last couple of years) form of other guys (sparing Dravid) he is as good as the best among the lot if not better.

Re: This Pathan character It's going to be a tough one for team management to determine Pathan's role in test series. Our batting needs boost but playing Pathan as one of four bowlers is also a risk. Also, Seems like we will have to settle with another make shift opener after Jaffer's flop show.

Re: This Pathan character Well Sehwag didn't do sh*t either, so Jaffer won't be losing out. India should play 5 bowlers - Pathan, Kumble, Harbhajan, Sreeesanth, VRV. Plenty of "options" in the bowling attack, and a very long batting lineup.
