Well I maybe wrong but a league isn't even allowed unless there are an even number of teams. So somebody has to drop out or we have to find a 10th. Speaking of dropping out, I won't be able to do 5 pm guys. If it gets moved up to sometime 2-3 pm, I can do it but otherwise I'll have to drop out. (Letting the computer pick for me isn't an option as I like to be there at the draft) Thanks.
u are right, it has to be even. maybe we can move the date one day ahead.

hey geniuses, if there are odd number of people, one team each week will get a bye week :headshake: the draft date/time is tentative. we will take a poll once we get closer.

I would propose a late evening/night time as most of us are night "owls" and are busy doing some cr@p or the other during weekend day times. How long is the draft expected to take? Can we start at like say 7 or 8 pm PST or is that too late for the east coasters?

From Yahoo Fantasy Football: All head-to-head leagues must contain an even number of teams in order to process a draft or begin the season. Since it's not possible to draft a league with an odd number of teams, byes do not appear on the schedule. Byes create problems with the league schedule and playoff tiebreakers, because not all teams would play an equal number of games. To improve the quality of the league experience for all participants, the option to draft with an odd number of teams has been removed.

The draft can take up to 3 hrs and 45 minutes max. I'm available all day until 7:30 pm that day so the latest I can start is 3:45 pm EST.

assuming everyone uses 30 secs per pick and asuming 15 rounds it should be an hour and 15 mins. i dont think everyone will need 30 secs per pick, especially in the first 3/4 rounds when u know exactly who u are gonna get. So maybe 45 mins.

Lol dude there are 150 picks that need to be made. It's not as simple as always picking the highest ranked player left. Everyone picks differently but when I'm up, I'm looking at the breakdown of my team so far, bye weeks of players, who's left, and how everybody else is picking. No way that is done in 30 seconds. My guess is that it will take 3 - 3.5 hours.

u seriously need more than 30 secs per pick ? damn. i think thats too long..and a sign of bad preparation too, in my opinion. i have been playing FF last 2 years. so i usually do a shitload of mocks before going into the real thing so i always know who i am gonna get. have a few of players in mind for every single round, and have an order depending on where i am drafting. u really dont need more than 30 secs for each pick, especially from rd 1-4

:headshake: every league has one weak player atleast... a sort of bangladesh who can cause an upset or 2. donot underestimate a chess player... all i need to do i read some news and get a idea of who to pick, not difficult boss.

Yeah I started playing 2 years ago too. Finished in 3rd the 1st year and 1st place last year. I would do mocks and research before hand but I'm taking the CPA exam here in the states on the 27th so have my mind pre-occupied with that before hand.
