Finey Finey, why was Malinga not able to dislodge Mithun and Mishra with toe crushing yorker. For sure he has best yorker in the game and his short ball is second to none. Why I ask you??

If you compare the noughties' stats of the Oz, you'll see that the tail hasn't contributed much with the bat (in terms of runs), whereas their average during that time is the best of the last five decades, which goes to show that their "survival instincts" has improved manifold. Of all the nations, Saffies' tail has had a steady success in the last 20 years.
