if dhoni feels like he cant handle it then he will take himself out of the series,we have seen evidence of this in the past.

people should be thankful for every opportunity to play. not whine about workload. there are millions of people who would do anything for a spot in the national cricket team. it is afterall a game, a sport played for fun. can't handle the workload then just retire from the game.

It not simply about the fact that these players dont want to work or are lazy (dhoni evidently not being one of them) but needing to preserve your energy so us fans see the best of them when they do play, id rather see dhoni play 20 times a year at 100% than 50 times at 60% fit. And as a captain we dont just rely on his batting, but his wicket keeping, team selection, deciding on tactics and what bowlers to bowl when, keepin an eye on the powerplay, worrying about pitch conditions, doing press conferances, team meetings, his OWN batting, signing autographs etc etc. I personally think he should take time out i,e, completely away frm the team, and maybe work on his technique or rest.

Yes......Dhoni need to take some rest at least 45days. In that period Sehwag should lead the team. We have Karthik as an option behind wickets. If his performance is good....Our Strength will be improved before the world-cup. It shows we have strong reserve players who are capable to replace other players when required. We should try Robin Uthappa also. He has ability to bat like Sehwag. I hope selectors will rest dhoni and select Uthappa in the squad. Robin need to prove himself in CLT20.

i dnt think he needs to give up his keeping.... he's primarily a keeper who cud bat and then the captain.... already we have bowlers like crapthan,ishant who cnt do their primary jobs properly but are excelin in batting.... and DK well he does need to do well cnsistently... agreed he's more tailunted than MSD but he doesnt hve his wits ...seems to lose it always..... but inspite of tht he does luk jaded off late and his hair have grayed out cmpltly....effect of captaincy.... i think bcci doesn wnt to go dwn on rankings and hnce ask em to play everywhere...these crap series shudn be thr at all i think....
