Munaf Patel vs Ajit Agarkar?

Looking at the numbers, even a half fit Agarkar will turn out to be a better bowler than Munna. Wonder why do we keep going back to him when we have in Agarkar, an experienced bowler available. Agarkar is better than Munna in all the departments, wonder why he is being ignored by Cheeka and co? Unless he is injured, picking Munna over Agarkar is gross injustice by the selectors. Why is Kirsten not speaking up? He's always talked about improving the fielding of our side, having Agarkar in the team will surely be one right step in that direction.

Munaf chacha looks like a 90 year old trapped in a 27 year old body anyways. I think we need to give sir Aggy chances, heck even friggin Balaji got a chance in the NZ tour. What's wrong with Aggy? He averages <28 from about 190 ODIs which is impressive by any standards. I can't believe he's not even under the radar. Daym.

Agarkar was unfairly dropped from the team after the England tour of 2007. Before being dropped he had 16 wickets in his 10 matches!! As for him being old, even at 33, he is fitter than most of our young bowlers and has been among one of our quicket movers on the field. We need him back in the team, his mandatory 4-ball per over notwithstanding.

Seriously what the hell happened to Patel? When he first burst onto the scene he looked fairly fast, had the hunger, was aggressive and took wickets. Now just a few years on he looks like an imposter. Slow, lacks desire, weak and hardly takes any wickets. From young man to granddad in the blink of an eye.

I can see both sides of the argument, Agarkar was man who did a good job without never becoming a fans favourite or a big name in cricket and picking him now would i guess be seen as a backwards step regardless of whether he was unfairly dropped, why didnt ppl complain at the time and since?, whereas Munaf is the kind of player we'r craving for i,e, fast bowler he should be given the nod and if he fails look to bring Agarket in time for the WC. tbh this is a hypothetical question, i dont think agarkar is even on the selectors' radar,
