SachDan Posted September 8, 2010 Author Posted September 8, 2010 What a match it was between Fernando Verdasco and David Ferrer ! Verdasco won the match in five sets and match lasted 4 hours and 23 minutes! 5-7,6-7,6-3,6-3,7-6. Great effort from Verdasco..he was trailing by two sets and in the tie-breaker of the final set Ferrer was having upper hand leading 4-1...from there Verdasco won six straight points and won an unbelievable rally in the match point !!
Roshanrocks Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 there is only one way Rafa can be stopped... a sting operation by NOTW :P

vamos_rafa Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 Men's Quarter Final line-up: Federer v Soderling Monfils v Djokovic Wawrinka v Youzhny Rafa v Verdasco Some fascinating contests awaits.. This would be the match of the dark horses. Who so ever reaches the last 4 would give their opponenets a run for their money. Djoker has a really tough match against the slider man. I always felt he along with Brdych ahve not utilized their talents on the world stage till now. Rafa should win(no jinxes please). He has a 10-0 record against Verdacso. Federer-Soderling should be an interesting match because of the history attached. All in all a great line up for sure.

Cricketics Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 So who watched Verdasco vs Ferrer game last night? Without any doubt, best game of this tournament so far for me, just for the intensity show and the great comeback from Verdasco. He was down in the last set and also in the final tie break by 4-1, had three mini breaks and came back to win the game Ferrer played some great shots too. Great game it was. Tonight will be another fantastic night. Fed vs Soderling at the closure of day. and Early in the day Djokovic vs Monfils. Then also we will se our Indian-Pakistani pair in semi final.
Cricketics Posted September 8, 2010 Posted September 8, 2010 First set goes into tie break and they win. 7-6(5) BRILLIANT off to 2nd set
