For the third time in 2 weeks- India Bashing *CHECK* Australian Newspaper *CHECK* The BCCI's restraint is quite remarkable. The persistent nonsense that is being spewed by the English and the Aussie newspapers is an invitation for trouble. Cheap way to sell their newspapers. No one really cares about what some random Aussie or Pommie media thinks about India. The day we start caring, these papers are gonna be done and dusted.

hats off to this response ,there ========== Kiwi of NZ Posted at 3:43 PM September 19, 2010 What a load of nonsense, and, more concerningly, what a sinister article. The article is full of sinister and, arguably, racist and prejudicial undertones - "Different balls to Australia, different conditions, different everything...own dust bowls...Ponting and his Test team-mates will be crawling to the end of the limited-overs matches on the sub-continent." Please get off your high colonial, 'only my western nation's perspective is right" horse and adjust your clearly prejuducial and jaundiced views. The world of over 6 billion people and more than 300 countries is made of various perspectives etc. If you want to participate in this global community (including sports) you must adjust your perspective and give respect and credit that all nations, including how they are made up etc, are different. Therefore, you will not find AUSTRALIA, AUSTRALIAN views and all things AUSTRALIAN everytime you leave your country. So if you dont respect other nations and how they are made up, function and generally carry on, dont leave your perfect paradise and go and bury you head in the sand. Wake up and be less jaundiced and prejudiced. =================== :two_thumbs_up:

It's not as though this is the view of Australians' date=' it's just one journalist, therefore I think that response is a little over the top.[/quote'] I at times can't believe this is the same media which tore into the Australian government for humiliating Dr.Haneef.

^ It's all about selling the paper' date=' I hate journalists.[/quote'] Yes, but you have got acknowledge, that is a strong sense of resentment and jealousy when it comes to India specifically BCCI with its financial clout over world cricket.

The sense of resentment, bitterness and sheer jealousy etc. apart, we have got to acknowledge that changing the FTP just like that is not a good thing. The reporter is writing from the Aussie perspective in that it is giving them a less than ideal Ashes preparation. But I am sure we can identify with this if we put ourselves in the Aussie supporters' position.
