Sir john Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Centuries in Twenty20 cricket are rare, but not uncommon. Same goes for double centuries in one-day games. But a double century in a Twenty20 match? Unheard of, until this weekend. Batting for Dynamic CC against AIM CC on Sunday, Amir Rafique smashed an unbeaten 208 in Dynamic's total of 315-2 - probably itself a record. The innings attracted applause from all the players and spectators at the ground in Wilmington, Delaware. Dynamic unsurprisingly won the match after bowling AIM out for 167. After the match, Rafique told the dreamcricket website, "It was just my day and lady luck was on my side." His team-mate Vinamra Kumar told them, "It was a ferocious assault that will be remembered for a long time."
kabira Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 what was the ground size? Even then its great achievement.
