Out of favour Younis opens photo studio

Karachi: Fed up of being ignored by the Pakistan Cricket Board and the national selectors, out of favour former captain Younis Khan has opened a photo studio to use his time away from the game "productively". Younis, who has not been selected to play for Pakistan since the one-day series in Australia in February, has taken over a photo-shop business in Steel town in Karachi where he resides these days. "Yes, I have started this photo-shop business. It is called Bambino Photo Studio. It allows me to divert my mind and spend my time productively," Younis said. "A close friend first had the shop and was going away, after which I took it over and I am now rebuilding the studio and starting the business afresh. It has attracted me because photography has always fascinated me and it is a good business venture," the former captain said. Younis also said he was continuing his hobby of fishing regularly but he made it clear he had not given up hope of playing for Pakistan again. "The domestic season is starting soon and I will be playing for my team and hopefully get back into match form as I continue my training all the time. Whenever Pakistan requires my services, I am always available for the team," Younis said. feel bad for the guy..he is genuinly a very nice guy among bunch of crooks... doesnt deserve all this... and look all those morons who took oath against him... Afridi, Chota and Bada akmal, razaaq... making all the big bucks and most of the stupid pakistani fans still cheer for them even after matchfixing... they actually dont deserve player like Y.Khan

He's a rare gem in the pack of stones. He must've done bad things in the past, but his commitment to Pakistan is admirable. Something that the new generation should be taking inspiration from. Also, a very modest start to life again for Younis. People younger and junior to him have sports cars and mansions despite being out of cricket for months while Younis seems to be earning the humble bread. Cheers to him.

That’s what happens when people (black sheeps) like Ijaz Butt are given the charge, no doubt Younis is/was the most genuine and most spirited guy in team, I feel he is the man who right now thoroughly deserves to be Test captain of side but how unfortunate he dont even get selected to play...

The other forum has largest amount of Yonus fan more than Afridi/Akthar etc and favor him more than anyone for making the Test line-up and captaincy. It's really a shame that a superb classy player like him is out of the team due to the incompetence of our pathetic board, but the way rubbish PCB works we all know that Yonus will deservingly be back. I can see him playing in South Africa series. Side business b/w is always a good idea. Many players run side businesses, afterall you won't play cricket for your whole life.

When people support players like Afridi and make him a super star(and I am not talking about any forum but the general Pak public) and leave stadiums after he goes out what do you expect? Most people of Pak dont even have the patience for test cricket. There super satrs are the ones who can hit a six or bowl a 150mph ball. Slow batsmen and medium pace bowlers, even if effective, have no chance. If Afridi had been given a life ban instead of Younis by PCB, Pak fans would have burnt PCB headquarters down. Where was this outcry when Younis was unjustly banned? Tell me seriously that Pak fans would have kept quiet if Afridi was banned by PCB?
