Cricket truly came alive today yet again. 2 of the supposedly dying forms of this day and age left spectators speechless and awestruck, thanks to fantastic performances from the Indian boys and the Bangla bandhu's. 1. Ishant's gritty batting, Laxman's commitment and Zak's response to Ricky's suggestion of him "going back and improving his bowling" made this game an absolute treat to watch. Test cricket at its best. 2. Shakib-al-Hassan scored a 50 and picked up 4 wickets, an effort which won his team the 1st ODI vs New Zealand. Bangladesh adds another team to their giant-killer list. A Super day for 2 formats of the game :two_thumbs_up:

Laxman's shots were a sign of his discomfort at times, but that did not stop him from continuing his offence, while Zak took Ricky's advice to heart. This has gotta be one of the best test matches this year. Shaz uncle had completely lost control of his emotions :woot: And, Shakib might be the best allrounder in the subcontinent.

But finally justice was served and we won the match :king: About Shakib, he's probably my favorite non Indian player of the current lot :--D
