Ponting jeered?

Gunner's argument that Indian players, Sachin in particular, getting applause in Australia should be taken with a pinch of salt. In today's world, we have stationed enough cricket crazy indian techies, docs, engineers, cabbies, hoteliers in practically every part of the world, who sometimes out number even the local fans at the stadiums. so wen you hear a loud cheer when Sachin or any other Indian player takes the field at Adelaide or Auckland or Headingly or Capetown, chances are that its the Indian ex-pats that are leading the cheer So dont get carried away that Aussies are good crowd who has always cheered Indians. Its just that there are enought Indians in the crowd to submerge the jeers by their cheers
That's pure nonsense. I would give credit where its due, everyone here can frankly admit that SRT has had much love and adulation from the Aussie crowd everytime when he went out to bat there since the day he scored that 100 at the WACA in '92.

I think this shows how ill mannered the Indian fans are, and as pointed out by the commies how little they know about the laws and rules of the game. Indian supporters have allways been very poor sports supporters. Cricket supporters in India have a reputation around the world and its not nice.

Ponting got booed in last ashes series as well when he went out to bat. I think it maybe cos he is an sob. If I was in crowd when ponting goes out to bat I would boo him
Of course you would because you are an immmature, bigoted little child.

And then there is the Sydney 2008 fiasco' date=' where his attitude was criticised by even [b']Australian writers like Peter Roebuck...
That paedophile is a Pommy through and through.

And don't tell me crowds don't boo players of touring teams in Australia' date=' not only harby but others have had the misfortune too.. remember "Hadlee is a w*nker" cries???[/quote'] W*nker isn't even an offensive term.. it's just banter. I call my friend w*nkers all the time.

If somebody wants to boo Ponting it's her/his personal choice. If you want respect, you have to earn it. It can not be bestowed just b'coz you have been appointed as Australian captain.

It's a boo, it's not a racist attack, they're not throwing stuff, so who cares? It was just so typical of King Tendulkar, he is just such an immature poster.

and we call our friends monkeys all the time..Different culture takes different words ...well,differently. Even among Indians, different states take offense towards different words. For some reason, a lot of my telugu friends would take more offense to ""Son of a thief" than a "bastard".
