This guy has been playing nonstop. We need him more for this captaincy. Since the NZ test series coming up soon after, I would like him play the tests after a brief rest. Sehwag wont be my captains choice, as he has already hinted, he doesnt prefer that. So why force someone to take it. Rather someone like Raina, who is viewed as future captaincy material by selectors, will learn a lot managing this senior bunch. Chandan Posted October 12, 2010 Posted October 12, 2010 The 15 are as follows: Dhoni, Vijay, Dhawan, Kohli, Raina, Yuvraj, Tiwary, Ashwin, Praveen, Nehra, Munaf, Vinay, Jadeja, Rohit. That's the full squad. So no Sachin, Sehwag, Gambhir, Zaheer, Bhajji, Ojha, Ishant or Sree. Sensible squad. I wanted MSC to be rested as well.

No way we're going without him in a crucial series vs Australia. I seriously don't see any other choice for captain here - Raina is ok but I still think he's a bit too young it'd be a burden for him and may affect his performance now.
