Gunner_Mania Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 They have got the Eng Tour match and its related news on top of the India-NZ Test. Yesterday when there were 3 live international games happening and the Eng Tour game, the tour game was on the top with the SA-PAK game pushed down to the more news. FFS, its the tour match that should be in more news not a live international game.
King Tendulkar Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Yeah I saw that. Bit wierd how a tour game was headlining over international matches. In fact that was ridiculous
Zero_Unit Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Lol at your thread! If you have not realised by now that when ever india makes a headline news, countries like bangladesh, zimbabew ... and below ranked nations, when ever they play a match it is always under that and sometimes in the other news! They also think its unfair and annoying also. Anyways why open a thread on this?
saneindian Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Their headlines are arranged as per the country where you are accessing the page from. In India we have Ind-NZ on top and the Ashes warm up is not even in the main headlines!! Guess you are in the UK and hence see the Ashes related news on top.

Yesterday when there were 3 live international games happening and the Eng Tour game' date= the tour game was on the top with the SA-PAK game pushed down to the more news. FFS, its the tour match that should be in more news not a live international game. Agree its an international game but SA was playing Pakistan. Frankly, who cares about Pakistan matches.

I think he's referring to the generic address, not the one for a specific country.

Frankly' date=' who cares about Pakistan matches.[/quote'] And India was playing. And NZ was playing. And SA was playing. And Sl was playing. And Aus themselves were playing. Yet headline was england tour match of aus, it was wrong and ridiculous

They're just there to fill gaps in the schedule.
saneindian Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Shane has posted the screenshot of how it appears in India currently. KT and Sree, why dont you guys also put what you can see on CI's home page currently?
King Tendulkar Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Yeah but does anyone take the Pak - South Africa' date=' Australia - Lanka matches seriously ? They're just there to fill gaps in the schedule.[/quote'] Yeah I look at them keenly. Much more interested and focused on those results then a goddammn england tour game. Or you think an england tour game is more important then International matches?
achilles Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Its country-specific. And frankly, no one cares about the Ashes.... unless England's winning. :winky:
King Tendulkar Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Yep. Fair enough. You learn something new everday:--D
EnterTheVoid Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Yeah I look at them keenly. Much more interested and focused on those results then a goddammn england tour game. Or you think an england tour game is more important then International matches? Yes, especially with the Ashes around the corner. That effect is compounded when no name teams like Pakistan, Bangladesh etc are playing. Shane has posted the screenshot of how it appears in India currently. KT and Sree, why dont you guys also put what you can see on CI's home page currently? GENERIC ADDRESS: WWW.CRICINFO.COM COUNTRY SPECIFIC: AUSTRALIA COUNTRY SPECIFIC: INDIA
Nova Posted November 6, 2010 Posted November 6, 2010 Yeah but does anyone take the Pak - South Africa' date=' Australia - Lanka matches seriously ? They're just there to fill gaps in the schedule.[/quote'] :hmmmm: What about the cricket fans from those countries? It's not all about India vs ___ .

Saneindian is right. Shane's Sree_India's and my generic home page are different. I get the Eng tourgame on top in my generic home page.
