DomainK Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 We have a slim chance and we need to go for the kill. We cant lose from here, so I cant see whats the harm in going for a win. The worst result possible for us from here is a draw anyways. Dhoni once said that he has learned it from Ganguly. Always ensure that you cant lose before you go for a win, he was told by Ganguly. Always think if the opposition stands a chance if they go for a win and have a very good day on the field. If they have even a remote chance, dont declare.

Hindustani Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 no point in taking excessive risk in the first test match, if the series had been 0-0 or 1-1 after first test or had India 2-0 after or 1-0 down after first 2 matches, India could had declared it but doesn't make lot of sense to declare now, let them both make the centuries as they deserve it, specially bhajji
King Tendulkar Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Well done bhaji. Superb fight and commitment
achilles Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Who will play vs Saffers will be interesting.. I bet Raina will score big and pujara will warm benches.. I think you might be right. gaurav92 Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 ^Dhoni is too defensive to declare. For him personal milestones of players > Team India's victory
