Ya I agree all the bowling attacks look mediocre specially on flat wickets but Swann gives England the edge over other bowling attacks IMO,making England the most balanced attack ATM

can I remind you that you can not be No.1 without a world class bowling attack?
sorry but we dont have a world class bowling attack that creates shivers in the opposition,we just have a good bowling attack which is conditions dependent like most other bowling attacks ATM in test cricket

Sa edges out other teams' bowling because of Steyn factor imo.
Close call between Eng and SA because of the Steyn factor. But IMO you can't call an attack balanced without a proper spinner. Swann>> Harris,Botha

lol, No bowling lineup creates shivers these days in the age of helmets, L-guards etc. Indiian bowling has been effective every where. They have won test matches every where. I think you are basing your judgement only on performances on flat tracks in recent times.

Mc.Grath,Gillespie,Lee(young),Warne Shivers doesn't mean a fear for life.. it means a bowling line-up that can defend a tiny total when batting fails We're number one because our batting is so damn awesome...we pile mountains of runs in the first innings.. and we are capable of chasing any total. So our batting 'creates shivers'... Our bowlers are mostly an after-thought (exceptions ofcourse)

So you mean winning one test match in each country confirms that the team has a world class bowling attack
