Pak_Forever Posted November 27, 2010 Posted November 27, 2010 Was pretty decent in first inning. Let's see what he does in second inning. Seems better than Hauritz for Test cricket.
King Tendulkar Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 You guys were right . Doherty looks amazing
ZodiaC Posted November 28, 2010 Posted November 28, 2010 You guys were right . Doherty looks amazing What the heck KT? According to you there can nothing in between excellent and pathetic? He did alright, considering there wasn't much on offer for the spinners.
Anakin Posted November 29, 2010 Posted November 29, 2010 OK sorry. Doherty looked a brilliant spinner and feel Indian batters like Tendulkar and Laxy would stuggle against this new spin sensation, with his sensational FC bowling average of 48. They way he tuned the ball massive and caused havoc means auusies have finally got their replacement for Warne. Cant believe they did not play this 28 year old sooner after warne retired and instead play around 58 spinners before this guy with an average of 48 arrived. I know we have had many threads from in awe of aussie fanatics hailing Hauritz and Krejza and co etc etc. But this guy looked amazing and is no doubt the real deal! :cantstop::cantstop::hysterical::hysterical:
King Tendulkar Posted November 30, 2010 Posted November 30, 2010 King Tendulkar did your parents abuse you when you were little? Your posts are full of bitterness and hatred. I myself feel disgusted reading them. You need help, seriously. So do you rate Doherty then?:giggle: Please note if you show any negativity towards his bowling it means you were abused by your parents. Same goes for anyone else. Any criticism of Doherty means you were subject to abuse! It seems all types of labels are being created to stop any criticism of the holy cows of australia/england/ashes! Only hype allowed it seems!

It seems all types of labels are being created to stop any criticism of the holy cows of australia/england/ashes! Only hype allowed it seems! :haha::haha: Sad but true. When we have pitches like these in India we are killing test cricket and when they have pitches like Brisbane, they are the saviors of test cricket by playing such outstanding matches where 2wickets fall in 2 days. Doherty is at most a good ODI bowler but to me he does'nt look like one who can be in the test team for long.
King Tendulkar Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 This doherty really is top stuff. You guys were right
King Tendulkar Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical: I have a lot of respect for you after reading this. Btw Dsr, you want to bump that 'Killing Cricket' thread of yours ? I mean, did you see the match today, empty rows of seats everywhere :: http://www.indiancricketfans.com/showthread.php?t=251093 Hows your holy cow doing ? Last I heard, it was battered, bruised and got the living daylights beaten out of it There were empty seats. And will be more. So you rate Doherty? No offence you are the guy who has never been to India and declared that if he was at the commonwelath games you would be to scared to walk around dehli cos its dangerous and you might get killed by terrorists!:hysterical:
99.94 Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Would people on here be offended if Sree India supported Australia? I don't see why Sree cops so much because he defends Australia (the country he grew up in - from what I gather), is it really such a big deal if someone cheers against the country they were born in?

I don't see why Sree cops so much because he defends Australia (the country he grew up in - from what I gather)' date=' is it really such a big deal if someone cheers against the country they were born in?[/quote'] No it wouldnt. But why does he not admit he is an aussie and support them openly. Instead he pretends he is indian and pretends to support them. When all his posts suggest he supprts aussies and is an aussie with the usual anti indian rhetoric
Guest Gunner Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 I think KT and Sree need a room of their own. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
Robelinda Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Pretty average stuff from Xavier. I'm an Aussie through and through, pains me to see us selecting such average spinners.
Watson87 Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Steve O Keefe deserves a place instead of Doherty, it's disappointing to see such a legendary team going through such humiliation. I am with Australia till the very end, but this Doherty guy needs to go.
King Tendulkar Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Hauritz is miles better. Ponting had a shocker here as I believe he pushed for his selection based on one game in which ponting played and was impressed by Doherty. Yet nothing before or after suggested his suitability Hauritz has to come back in. His record in tests is ok. Just got punished in last series against India but then who doesnt as a spinner get punished by india

Robelinda Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Like Steve O'Keefe a lot, better than Doherty.

Well I think this is work of Guru Greg and Ponting .Ponting again proving how impatient captain he is , he just doesn't allow bowlers to settle in keeps on changing things for them that really saps the confidence of the bowlers.

ensd2 Posted December 4, 2010 Posted December 4, 2010 Doherty is so far ordinary : can't bowl , can't field , can't bats Hauritz is way better
King Tendulkar Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Doherty is so far ordinary : can't bowl , can't field , can't bats Hauritz is way better Why you are criticising Doherty. You must have been abused as child by your parents. You guys were so right, he is really good. Shame this will be the last test he ever plays!
