Are you kidding me, nobody here knows the answer. Or did you simply choose to ignore this question. On a forum where people probably will answer -- "When Vettori visited the bathroom last time". Anyways -- the only reason I know it is -- because it happened in the epic Eden Gardens Test. Man was Adam Gilchrist -- A man who had never been part of an Australian Team which even drew a test match, forget losing it, till then -- was out 1st ball both innings and rest as they say was history !

Answer to Post #29. Paul Adam on his Debut in 2005 lost his wicket for Duck to england. THat was the 50th Duck on a debut. Both Aus and SA has lost 49 debutants on duck in the opening match against england before Adam took SA tally to 50. Even England have lost 49 against Aus so far. So Aussies can equal that record of England.

Hey come on that ain't a kind pair on debut. The hint was related to king pair on debut...on another forum on a thread on 'how rare is a king pair on debut', I got to know it was very rare in deed...not even 10 instances in the 130 yr History of the game.

I thought that was just a reference to the King Pair which happened on debut. All I knew was Gilchrist got it in Kolkatta and as soon as I read this is the 2nd time, mentioned that was the 1st. I will mark my trivia as :fail:.

D.33. Back in Dec 2004/Jan 2005 there was 33 poits difference when SA were dropped to 99 while Aus were on 132. Next month they were on 100 but Aus went up on 133. Quickly theyj umped from #5 to #4 in few months.
