ZodiaC Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 Played one series overseas and has won it:--D Seriously,I agree he will truly be regarded as the best if he wins in SA and Aus,but for that he has to play there and then we can comment but we cant demean his achievements so far by saying weak oppositin or whatever, give credit where its due Those are tough challenges, but true test for him will come when the fab 3 retire and he's left with an unsettled team, IMO. But winning a series in SA will be the first step towards it (and we're gonna win it obviously :two_thumbs_up:)
vaibhav_delhi Posted December 5, 2010 Author Posted December 5, 2010 Am again asking You are you a 'paki' or 'English' Aussie'? lol...and I am telling you you are a moron for asking me that.

Andy Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 lol...and I am telling you you are a moron for asking me that. And am Telling you you must be an w.a.n.k.e.r to address Tendulkar as "Your" God, Ganguly as "Your" Ganguly. :hysterical:
Andy Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 :(( We'll lose it 2-1 and you hear it first from Andy. :two_thumbs_up:
Sachin=GOD Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 My friend this is the most stupid comment one can make' date='what can a captain do if the opposition becomes weak,I can counter that for Dada's captaincy by saying that Dada has captained more tests aginst Zim and Bang as coimpared to Dhoni, cut this idiotic reasoning out, though I also agree Dhoni still has many more difficult tests to pass to become best Indian captain[/quote'] I am in not in way trying to demean Dhoni's captaincy but merely pointing out the facts. Ganguly was the captain when Aussies were the most Dominant team in world cricket and Dhoni is captain when the Aus team is pale shadow of the team that played India in 2001. Similarly for a team like Nez Zealand, players like Chris Cairns, Nathan Astle, Bond, MacMillan etc have retired and have been replaced by mediocre players. Dhoni is a very good captain but at the moment it is too early to label him as the Greatest. If he continues like this for sometime then yes he will be considered as one of the best but not right now.
vaibhav_delhi Posted December 5, 2010 Author Posted December 5, 2010 You w.a.n.k.e.r. Cut down the abuse' date=' If you can talk and argue then we'll Talk. Am reporting Your Post.[/quote'] its funny how some people's blood boils on an online discussion forum... even more funny that they are still wrong and how common sense evades them.
Sachin=GOD Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 We'll lose it 2-1 and you hear it first from Andy. :two_thumbs_up: its going to be a 1-1 DRAW..........and you heard it first from me :icflove:

And better than Ganguly FOR SURE.

Completely agree with you here but again I will say opposition becoming weak is not captain's problem,he has to play and win whatever he is up against whether its the best of that generation or a pale shadow of it

saneindian Posted December 5, 2010 Posted December 5, 2010 but we have'nt seen the Wasim' date=' Waqar, Inzi's of Dhoni till now.[/quote'] Who exactly are the likes of Gambhir, Kohli, Pujara and dare I say Rohit Sharma etc :--D
