Wow' date=' the greatest player of all time (per the maharathis on this board) isn't even the consensus greatest INDIAN player of genuine fast bowling. :hmmm:[/quote'] Yes but no one picked lala amarnath a peer of Don Bradman either. So please go away and stop embarrassing yourself.

Yes I am since you obviously missed the point. Many people picked Gavaskar etc because of the legendary WI fast bowlers they faced no one made a case that SRT wouldn't have succeeded nor did anyone make a case for players from the 30s and 40s implicity accepting the inferiority of those bowlers. So once again please stop yourself.

Please stop me. LOL. Let me make it easy for you. You have someone named SRT whom people claim is the greatest player of ALL time. I mean this includes all past and present and all countries and one of the reasons given is the quality of pace bowling faced by him and others of the modern era. Now when you have someone who is proclaimed to be the greatest of all time with one of he major factors being quality of fast bowling faced, wouldn't you logically expect him to be the consensus best player of pace bowling AT LEAST from his own country? May be you don't for some twisted reason, but seems like a fair point to make. :dontknow: PS: This has nothing to do with Bradman or anyone from the "jokers as proven by video evidence" era, more to do with just players of the modern era who have played against some of the Phaast ballers.

I m not sure whether that is valid. Infact, it is generally cosndiered that quality of bowling has gone down drastically over this decade which is half of his career.
