Thats a lot of matches. Congrats to the master. What a career in test cricket. With his retirement, a rare art will die. How many more batsmen do you fine these days who would grind it out with patience and determination when the going gets tough? Even someone like Amla is going to get corrupt with his T20 debut soon. In was referring to Amla's pace of scoring. I think he was over aggressive today and lost his wicket to that aggression. Yes, he made a good half century, but he could have done better. No, I am not calling him corrupted, I am saying that T20 cricket will corrupt him. If you dont like the way Dravid plays, dont you think this may not be the best occasion to state that? This thread is for an achievement by the man. How about keeping the hatred away for a while. However, if you are really keen, I suggest you open a new thread for the topic.

Congrats Dravid. A great sportsmen and role model. I agree that his form is deserting him and he needs to quit soon but he has been one of those people who have quietly worked for the team all these years with little or no appreciation. A true gentleman and a wonderful cricketer....thank you for all these years of service!!!
