If India wins then it may give RD a reason to continue and ride the No.1 Test status for a bit longer but a loss absolutely means curtains for there is nothing much for RD to accomplish or play for and it also gives India a chance to look at the other options and keep building for the long haul. From a personal stand point 150 Tests with 12,000 runs and 200 catches is plenty and should be time to ride off into the sunset for The Wall of Indian cricket.

He has often looked good but has failed to convert starts to big innings off late. He will get a break from international cricket for 2~3 months and hopefully he will work it out.

yoda Posted January 3, 2011 Posted January 3, 2011 RD, one of my fav Indian players ever. Was the best test bat for a good period and has been on a decline of late despite the odd good score here and there. Here is hoping that he will help us seal this test, or at a minimum come out with a draw.
