saneindian
Was reading an interview by Bhajji in Mid-Day and found this to be of interest " I know that I am just 14 wickets away from 400 Test scalps and just eight games away for my 100th Test match. Both are very big milestones for my cricketing career. I really don't know where I will play the 100th Test match. First, I thought I would play it in England, but now I learn we will not play any Tests in the West Indies, so it will change. http://www.mid-day.com/sports/2011/jan/030111-England-Darren-Gough-Harbhajan-Singh.htm --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am not sure if Mid-Day news can be trusted but if Bhajji did say this, he surely must have some andar ki khabar. No tests in WI will be a disappointment. On the positive side, the team will get some rest after a useless IPL season and may also get to spend extra time in England acclamatising to the conditions and hopefully 1-2 additional practice matches before the 1st test in England. Serani
They have already set the fixtures and WICB would get some much needed revenue from hosting India in tests. Unless BCCI are willing to pay them off. Link to comment
Manny_Pacquiao
its a useless series crammed in the middle of an already packed schedule that includes the IPL and a lengthy tour of england. may as well scrap it Link to comment
BERGKAMP
I agree, Windies are a pointless team nowadays, it will save them the humiliation of being whitewashed. Link to comment
Manny_Pacquiao
I agree' date=' Windies are a pointless team nowadays, it will save them the humiliation of being whitewashed.[/quote'] it would be a repeat of the NZ series. WI pitches are gonna produce high scoring matches and india will have to settle for a useless 1-0 win which will only reduce points on the ICC rankings. skip this stupid tour plz Link to comment
Serani
Lol, what a pathetic attitude. Link to comment
diegovegaz
I agree' date=' Windies are a pointless team nowadays, it will save them the humiliation of being whitewashed.[/quote'] not sure about that india will drop their game against them, as they do against bangladesh too:hysterical: Link to comment
f.b.m
BCCI can do a Soviet Union here. They can simply pretend that such a series never existed in the itenary. Lavrenty Beria. Link to comment
sandeep
I am hoping to make it to Trinidad for the T20 and One day game - maybe to Jamaica for the 1st test - ****ing WICB is worse than BCCI - scheduling the Jamaica Test monday to friday. I guess i will save some money if the tests are cancelled... Link to comment
