King Tendulkar Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Also he gave him dressing down for sledging poor saffies. The rubbish we have to heear from such teams over the years and dhoni turns all ghandhi. Pathetic
Sid Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Let us see how Dhoni bats in the 4th innings. He hasnt produced any significant score in this series yet. He is the 2nd highest scorer for India on this tour :cantstop:
saneindian Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 KT the source is Rediff here. Can never be trusted. BTW Sree was sledging Smith and others even in the 1st innings. You think Sree would do that if an incident like what is being reported happened?
King Tendulkar Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Sree was bowling like a tiger today. All over Kallis. Then Dhoni wades in with his lets appease poor saffies and go all nice. result Sree comes back after tea and the fire is not there in him and rest of team. Shocking by Dhoni. Puts to bed comparisons with Dada. Dada would have fired our lads up even more and been all over saffies

You think Sree would do that if an incident like what is being reported happened? Public dressing down on pitch in front of everyone. Which he showed such balls with oppo
Ram Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Not in public dreesing down, NO. And then pubicly revealing this NO!! Big Nos Nos as Captain. Disgusting in fact considering the unbelivable commitment sree has shown with terrific results So still no word on the almost childishly immature attitude that Sreesanth brings to the field, constantly getting into unwanted confrontations, frequently making mock gestures when he gets opposition batsmen out, taking almost twice the mandated time to bowl an over, but a mountain of criticism for Dhoni? And reg. the public criticism part, you really don’t know how things work do you? Different people react differently. Some guys respond to a quiet, private word. Others need to be given a dressing down in front of everyone. And if it is suggestion that Dhoni somehow doesn’t know how to handle the players or the media, then that is a laughable insinuation really, considering what a refreshingly sharp contrast he has been compared to some of his predecessors, when it comes to matters of the media.
Sid Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 He gave him the dressing down becoz of Sree's dramatic appeals ,Taufel may have had a word with Dhoni and must have told him to calm Sree down
King Tendulkar Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 you really don’t know how things work do you? Different people react differently. . O and you do O mighty sage. Dhoni seemed he was more interested in preserving his public image. Sree did nothing wrong and behaved exactrly lie SA bowlers did. He was all over saffies and had them on run. Then Mr image Dhoni comes in and goes all gandhi and India goes as flat as 1 year opened can of Coke. If you knew how things work then you would understand then any such pompous dressing downs should be done in dressing room. Then when it is done in dressing room , you dont then go in to a press conference and reveal the dressing down to whole world. Seems Dhoni more interested in preserving his public image then worrying about India winning the test match. Fight fire my ****. looks like dhoni wants to fight fire with a wet blanket! Grow some Dhoni
King Tendulkar Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 He gave him the dressing down becoz of Sree's dramatic appeals ' date='Taufel may have had a word with Dhoni and must have told him to calm Sree down[/quote'] What like the way Smith gave Harris a dressing down after his pathetic appealing, which by the way Sree clearly copied. O wait a minute he didnt, in fact Smith also got in umpires face and sachins face with harris. While Dhoni goes all gay
saneindian Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 KT once again, the so called dressing down happened before this test. How come Sree came , bowled well , picked wickets and sledged more than the 2nd test? Or am I missing something here? Did Dhoni said harsh words to Sree on the field today?

Grow some Dhoni Stopped reading right there. :haha: If you think 'Sreesanth did nothing wrong', then that is all anyone who's having a conversation with you on this topic, need to know. Rest of the post, as usual, is just plain gibberish comprising of your wild imagination let loose and the blatantly obvious grudge you have always had, against MSD.
King Tendulkar Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Sree deserves it for being such a cry baby. Like I said different rules for ashes
King Tendulkar Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 ^ yes o mighty patronising sage!!! We are not worthy!!!!
Serani Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Not sure I have seen any boundary rope related incidents in the ashes.
Ram Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 ^ yes on mighty patronising sage!!! If you’re going to make patronizing post, at least get the basics like grammer/punctuation right, seriously. :P Dhoni acting like Gandhi.. Dhoni interested only in preserving public image.. You should try script writing in movies, or maybe become one of those gossip columnists in those british tabloids. It’s a picture perfect fit for your credentials.
saneindian Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Not sure I have seen any boundary rope related incidents in the ashes. We just have had players mouthing each other off, getting close to exchanging blows etc etc and yet not one incident being reported in the Ashes. Given the completely polite and gentlemanly environment the Ashes has been played in, how dare Sree kick the sacrosanct rope?
Sid Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 What like the way Smith gave Harris a dressing down after his pathetic appealing' date=' which by the way Sree clearly copied. O wait a minute he didnt, in fact Smith also got in umpires face and sachins face with harris. Sir john Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Not sure I have seen any boundary rope related incidents in the ashes. :finger: whats need to kick in boring test series :yawn2:
Serani Posted January 5, 2011 Posted January 5, 2011 Maybe the match ref understands the extra passion involved in the ashes. And England and Australia dont go crying to the match ref like SA and Ind in the current series.
