2 innings ODIs in Aus

Anyone followed this new format in Aus domestic season?? HOw did it worked out? Did players like it? How about spectators? would like to know from Aussies here.

It was a massive :fail: Since all of them were depending on the second innings to score quickly, it gave no respite for crowds, and two breaks in between the innings made the settled players focus again, and they had to re-established their innings completely.All in all, I found it pretty meaningless, and I hope the more conventional method of 50 over game never changes.

well rules may be faulty, I think they continue their innings..It should be new innings... SRT endorses this idea, it eliminates advantage of winning the toss

new innings ? two consecutive T25s clubbed together ? That's like a triple whopper with cheese, junk food bundled up in larger quantity :blink:

Just play 80 over limited Test kirkut 20/20/20/20. It follows the structure of Test cricket but also lives up to the demanding entertainment.

it was a massive :fail: .. They didnt exactly have 2 innings per side but just divided into 2. Everybody got to bat only once and didnt make any sense

Haven't enjoyed what I've seen of it. Just pointless, keep it at 50 overs a side.

i saw quite a few matches of the ryobi cup both teams bat for 20 overs first and then 25 overs its a blunder
