Trivia: Six hitting feat in ODIs

The following batsmen have achieved it (the list is not complete, there are others who have done this). Mahendra Singh Dhoni Wasim Akram Philo Wallace Aaqib Javed Sanath Jayasuriya, Shahid Afridi, Chris Cairns and Adam Gilchrist are among the long list of people who haven't achieved it. Virender Sehwag isn't. Not only did he achieve it, but he did it against Australia and in Australia. What's the achievement?

Re: Trivia: Six hitting feat in ODIs I'd be amazed if Afridi hasn't ever hit a six of his 1st ball. Actually i just remembered he did it in one of the 'ODIs' for the Rest of The World team against Australia in Australia. It was against Watson. Hooked over fine leg into the 2nd tier.

Re: Trivia: Six hitting feat in ODIs Feat: Hitting a six off the first ball of one's own innings As for Aaqib's, SA v. Pakistan at Cape Town in 1995. Aaqib's innings lasted all of one ball: 6 not out. Dhoni's innings of 7 off 2 against Bangladesh in December 2005 began with a six down the ground.

Re: Trivia: Six hitting feat in ODIs ^^yeah, cheeka--what a character he was. smoked like a chimney, but was also one of the best fielders. i still remember his stunning catch off Miandad on 99 in a Test (IIRC, it was in bangalore and cheeka was a substitute fielder). he moved closer than short cover; the usually street-smart Miyan didn't notice since he was tense about getting the ton. Miyan played a decent off-drive, but cheeka dived forward (almost as if he had precognisance) and pulled off a blinder, centimeters from the ground. but the best part about watching cheeka bat were his mannerisms, his li'l tics and twitches and his walk towards sq. leg. it was a complete waste of time trying to sledge him or stare at him...
