I am the undisputed champion of ICF chess league 2. :yay: Fischer and Capablanca say hi. Sounds like the retro Hollywood movie that I was talked into seeing by a few of my 'arty' friends. Boring, black and white movie. Had to turn it off after 30 mins. How do you convert ratings on chess.com to ELO ratings? Is 1200 on chess.com the same as 1200 ELO?

I care about that game. About this stupid chess, I couldn't care that much. But still due to my extraordinary knack for the game I am better than all the ICFers and few other minnows like Anand, Kasrov, Fischer etc. Lets try playing a game later tonight or tomorrow morning. Casablanca you mean. chess.com ratings are inflated i guess. 2000 over there may be at max 1400-1500 ELO. You need to play FIDE rated tourneys to get ELO points.

I didn't read his name properly when I played against him. Minnows don't warrant such attention. About to lose to you?? Looks like an even game so far. First off, what we are playing an e version of correspondence chess. People in the 1600s used to write each other their moves and wait for the postman. The only thing that matters is real time chess, where you don't stand a chance. Not my fault that you stay in the USA, a technologically backward country that still relies on 'postal' chess.

Mariyam you do have a horriblr taste as far as movies are concerned:hmmm: I read somewhere in a forum. Some guy was complaining that while his chess.com and USCF ratings are 1800 or something his ELO rating was still very low. Anyways mostly these sites are filled with paltzers who have nothing else to do. So why bother????
