Cricketics Posted February 21, 2011 Posted February 21, 2011 It helped us. We ended up giving close to 300 runs against a not so great batting side. And we got an early lesson what is to come for our bowlers if when we play on tracks like ahmedabad, which are not that spin friendly in a one day game, and we might need a better seamer who is wicket taking like Nehra, rather than someone like Sreesanth, or best is play 2 spinners with 2 seamers. Dhoni got an idea in the first game itself about which bowlers to use in the remainder of the cup. That was a real bonus for us. They should really help us now.

Declare when the score reached 280? And in case they had lost then you would have been the first person gunning for players' heads.
