Vaughan looked in good touch but England couldn't face up to the pace of Tait and the slow bowling of Hogg. Plenty of positives to take out of the game for England. Autralia coasting at 140+ no loss lost 5 wickets against slower bowlers before they reached the target. There is a hint there these pitches after the ball gets old is not up to Aussies' liking. England bowled pretty bad early on. Most runs seems to come through the leg side and a lot of short balls were punished by Gilly and Watson. After about 20 overs Australia clearly struggled to play well. I hope it gets tougher and tougher for the Aussies. :wtg: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
